Texas Hold'em
Pre-Game
Players: 2–10 players.
Deck: One standard 52-card deck.
Dealer Button: Rotates clockwise after each hand, indicating who deals www.firsttimepokerplayer.com.
Blinds: Two forced bets before the deal — small blind (SB) and big blind (BB), usually SB is half the BB. In cash games, blinds are fixed; in tournaments, they increase over time www.firsttimepokerplayer.com.
Buy-in: Minimum and maximum chip amounts are set by the house or game host; often 100 big blinds is standard www.firsttimepokerplayer.com.
Game Play
Blinds posted (SB and BB).
Deal: Each player gets two hole cards face down, starting with the player to the left of the BB Flop Turn River.
Preflop Betting: First betting round starts with the player to the left of the BB (“under the gun”). Players can fold, call (match the big blind), raise (at least double the previous bet), or bet any amount PokerTube+1.
Flop: Three community cards are dealt face up. Second betting round begins.
Turn: Fourth community card is dealt. Third betting round.
River: Fifth and final community card is dealt. Fourth and final betting round.
Showdown: If two or more players remain, they reveal hands. The best five-card poker hand (using any combination of hole cards and community cards) wins The Lodge Card Club+1.
Betting Rules
No upper limit: Any player can bet or raise any amount, including all chips (“all-in”) The Lodge Card Club+1.
Minimum bet: At least the size of the big blind in the first round; raises must be at least double the previous bet Somuchpoker.
Actions:
Check: No bet, only available if no one has bet yet.
Fold: Exit the hand.
Bet/Raise: Place chips into the pot www.firsttimepokerplayer.com.
